Full Time Toddler + Infant Nanny: (west) Madison, WI

A professional, warm, kind-hearted family located in Madison, WI is seeking an experienced, loving, and reliable nanny for their growing family. 

This family of three (soon to be four!) shares a strong sense of togetherness - they love spending time outdoors, walking around the neighborhood with their lovable Sheepadoodle, baking and cooking meals together, playing board games, and crafting (including handmade Halloween costumes from Mom!). They are creative, playful, and deeply value quality time as a family.

Their daughter, who is 4.5 years old, is incredibly imaginative, creative, and independent. She loves arts and crafts, pretend play, building LEGO sets, and playing “teacher.” She attends school and swim lessons, and the nanny will be responsible for her daily drop-off and pick-up, as well as transportation to and from any after-school activities. She’s eagerly anticipating her new role as a big sister and thrives in a nurturing environment where her emotions are acknowledged and supported.

This summer, the family will welcome a new baby and are seeking a nanny who is highly experienced with infants and toddlers as well as school-age children. They value a calm, present, and patient caregiver who communicates clearly and kindly, and who views their role as part of a collaborative parenting team. They hope to have the nanny with them for years to come!

The Ideal Nanny:
The ideal fit for this family is someone who is deeply reliable and consistent, with a nurturing, grounded presence. A candidate who brings a balance of developmental knowledge and emotional attunement will be a great fit for this family. 

They are looking for a nanny who is proactive in planning activities, setting up playdates, and getting the children out and about, while still maintaining a peaceful, structured home environment. The family appreciates a nanny who emulate respectful, kind behavior, and who help children feel safe, seen, and heard. They do not micro-manage and are looking for a nanny who will take initiative and confidently make the role their own!

They value a nanny who communicates daily updates and keeps a baby log. Comfort with dogs is a must, as their large (and very loving + older) Sheepadoodle, is a central part of the household. While no direct dog care is required, the nanny should enjoy being around animals and help model a healthy and safe relationship between dog and children.

Schedule:

Monday, Wednesday: 7:45am–5:00pm
Tuesday, Thursday: 8:00am–5:00pm
Friday: 7:45am–4:15pm
45 hours per week

Compensation & Benefits:

• $25–$27/hour DOE
   
• Guaranteed hours
   
• 5 days PTO of nanny’s choice (with 4 weeks notice)
   
• 5 sick days
   
• At least 2 additional PTO weeks during family travel
   
• Standard federal holidays off
   
• Use of family vehicle for all work-related driving
   
• Health insurance stipend based on nanny’s needs
