Proudly serving families across all of Wisconsin
We are committed to transparent and straightforward pricing. Many nanny agencies impose significant placement fees ranging from 15-25% of the nanny's annual compensation. This approach can feel transactional and overly focused on the nanny's compensation, which does not align with our values.
Based on our experience, most replacements occur within the first three months. While most agencies offer a 30-90 day replacement window, we provide extra reassurance by offering an extended grace period. We stand by our placements and take pride in our ongoing commitment to the families we serve.
Backup care is not guaranteed, but we have on-call nannies through our Babysitter's Club. You're welcome to reach out anytime to check availability.
We focus on quality over quantity, carefully matching each family with a nanny who meets their specific needs and will be a long-term, sustainable fit for their family.
The average timeline for placement is typically 4-6 weeks. This allows us to conduct our thorough interview, reference, and background checking process ensuring we present you with the most qualified candidates. We believe that taking this time is essential for finding the right long-term fit for your family.
There is no "too early" in our eyes. The earlier you begin the process, the better, as this allows us to identify and connect with nannies whose current contracts are ending around the time you’re looking for someone to start.
We recommend initiating the search 8-12 weeks in advance to maximize your options.
Industry-standard benefits consist of guaranteed weekly pay, paid time off, paid sick days, paid federal holidays, and mileage reimbursement at the standard IRS rate.
Additionally, some families provide a monthly health insurance stipend to assist with their nanny's monthly premium costs. While the average stipend ranges from $150 to $250 per month, it can be tailored to fit your family’s budget and may cover up to the full cost of the nanny's premium. When you contribute to your nanny’s health insurance premium, this amount is considered nontaxable compensation for both you and your nanny, making it a mutually beneficial option.
Extra perks families consider: gym membership, cell phone reimbursement, continuing education, contributing to their retirement plan, paying for CPR recertification, etc.
Absolutely! We are committed to setting up families for complete success, and that includes navigating the tax implications of hiring a nanny. We connect families with our trusted partners at HomePay, who specialize in payroll services for in-home employers.
HomePay will guide you through understanding your responsibilities as an employer, including how to properly handle taxes, withholdings, and any applicable benefits. They also help you take advantage of the tax breaks available to you as a household employer, ensuring that both you and your nanny are fully compliant and informed.
If you have any questions or would like to learn more about this process, feel free to reach out. We're here to help you every step of the way.
