A nanny is a dedicated and experienced caregiver that provides personalized and comprehensive childcare within a family's home. A nanny fits seamlessly into your family dynamic and is an extension of your parenting team.
Nannies can be full-time or part-time, and their roles can be customized based on the specific needs and preferences of your family. Part-time: 20-29 hours/week; Full time: 30+/week
Responsibilities are related to the children and their well being: maintaining the child(ren)'s schedule, planning and engaging them in age-appropriate educational + recreational activities to support their development, preparing healthy meals + snacks, children's laundry, household duties related to the children, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. These can be tailored to meet the unique needs of each family and the developmental stages of the children.
A nanny house manager is the perfect caregiver for the busy family requiring assistance in maintaining daily household tasks and childcare. This role combines both childcare and household management, with dedicated time allocated to completing various household tasks.
Each NHM position is tailored to meet the family's specific needs and can include any combination of childcare + household duties.
In addition to the nanny duties listed above, a NHM takes on various household responsibilities. These may encompass tasks such as light housekeeping, running errands, scheduling appointments, handling package shipments, grocery shopping, meal preparation and cooking family meals, overseeing other household staff, and maintaining general household organization.
A family assistant is well-suited for a busy family seeking assistance with day-to-day household tasks and minimal-no childcare duties. The primary responsibilities of a family assistant include overseeing all aspects of the home and ensuring the overall success and efficiency of the entire household.
Each FA position is tailored to meet the family's specific needs.
Duties may include but are not limited to: general household organization, running errands, mailing packages, scheduling appointments, grocery shopping, meal prep + cooking family meals, managing other household staff, household deep cleaning, pet care, house sitting etc.
A nanny share is when one nanny is hired to provide childcare for two families. Typically, the nanny cares for the children at one house, but the days can alternate between houses as well. This type of position is a great opportunity to have a high-quality nanny and split the cost of salary with another family. Families that go in on a nanny share typically live close and have similar work schedules. Nanny shares can be full or part time care.
