Part-Time Nanny: Oconomowoc, WI

 A kind and welcoming family in Oconomowoc, Wi is seeking an experienced + loving nanny to join their family. 

The family loves to spend time outdoors and go for family walks, spend time at the lake, go frogging (so cool!), cook and bake together. Mom and Dad are loving this season of life and engaging in fun activities with their children. 

The oldest (6) is in school and will only be in the nanny’s care during the summers. He has a sweet, curious, and loving personality. He loves school and spending time outdoors fishing + catching bugs & frogs. 

The four year old has a spunky and sweet personality. She loves arts + crafts, baking, and pretend play. She will be in pre-k from 8am-11:30am during the school year. 

The youngest (one) is the cuddler of the family and is such a sweetheart. He loves trying to keep up with brother + sister, go on walks, and read. 

The children are excited to welcome another brother or sister come November! 

The family is looking for a nanny who will become an extension of their family, providing a nurturing and loving environment for the children. The ideal candidate will create a safe and warm space where the children can learn, play, and grow in. Trustworthiness and excellent communication are essential, with the ability to observe and discuss the children's needs with mom and dad. 

The nanny should possess the ability to adapt to each child's unique needs and situations. The nanny will be responsible for maintaining the children’s daily schedules, driving to and from school + extracurriculars, and engaging them in age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, baking, and outdoor play. 

Mom and Dad value holding loving-but-firm boundaries when necessary, while acknowledging and leveling with the children's emotions, ensuring consistency. Their goal is to raise independent, kind, and successful adults who can figure out solutions on their own, with guidance when needed. They hope to find a nanny who can partner with them in this approach, fostering an environment of independence and problem-solving.

The nanny will be responsible for maintaining the children’s bedrooms, play areas, common spaces, meal-prep for the children, and children’s laundry. 

Mom and Dad view the nanny as an integral part of their parenting team and family. They are looking for someone who will grow with them and remain a cherished member of their family for years to come.

Interviewing now with the position to start as soon as possible for the right candidate; ideally by end of summer. 

Schedule: Tuesday + Thursday: 7:30am-5:30pm. Option to stay until 4:15 if wanting a shorter day

Compensation: $25-27/hr 

Benefits: 20 hours guaranteed per week, 4 PTO days, Extra PTO when family takes vacation, paid holidays that land on the nanny’s scheduled days, 2 paid sick days, use of family vehicle, raises and bonuses based on performance

-The middle child has an allergy to dogs and cats. Nanny can have them but must be mindful of pet dander
