Proudly serving families across all of Wisconsin
A kind and welcoming family is preparing to welcome their first baby and is looking for a nurturing, experienced nanny to join them during this special season of life.
They are excited to build their village and hope to find a caregiver who will feel like a natural extension of their family.
Both parents are professionals who value balance, health, and time outdoors. Outside of work, they love staying active: working out, hiking, traveling, and even winter camping. Norway is one of their favorite travel destinations, and they look forward to continuing to explore the world as their family grows.
Their home is also shared with two beloved Bernese Mountain Dogs who have long been considered their “first children.” While the dogs do not require nanny-related duties, the family hopes to find someone who is comfortable around large dogs and appreciates how much they are a part of daily life in the household.
The family’s first baby is expected in mid-March, and they are planning for a nanny to begin in late May or early June. As first-time parents, they are thoughtful and intentional about the environment they want to create for their child. They hope to welcome a nanny who is calm, grounded, and experienced with newborns; someone who brings confidence, warmth, and a reassuring presence that helps provide peace of mind as they navigate early parenthood.
The ideal nanny will be safety-conscious, nurturing, and attentive, with a love for supporting infant development in a low-tech environment. The family prefers a screen-free approach when the baby is awake and values meaningful interaction, gentle care, and developmentally appropriate engagement.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with some flexibility available for the right candidate. The family guarantees 25 hours per week and is happy to accommodate occasional schedule shifts when needed (for example, for a doctor’s appointment).
Their home is located in a beautiful, walkable neighborhood with nearby parks and sidewalks—perfect for stroller walks and fresh air outings as the baby grows.
Compensation and Benefits
The nanny’s responsibilities will focus on the baby and include standard newborn care along with typical child-related household tasks.
The family is excited to welcome a nanny who will become a trusted part of their child’s early life; someone warm, loving, and dependable who takes pride in providing attentive, high-quality care during the newborn stage.
