Nanny House Manager: Whitefish Bay, WI

A busy and loving dual-physician household is seeking an experienced nanny/household manager to join their active family!

Both parents are physicians with demanding schedules so when they have down time they cherish spending time together as a family. They love staying active, traveling, cooking together, and playing guitar. Their family consists of three wonderful children:

• 11-year-old M: Has a love for playing tennis, piano, and video games!
• 9-year-old F: Loves to dance, play piano and guitar. She is extremely responsible, independent, and self-sufficient.
• 6-year-old M: Loves playing soccer, piano, and enjoys going to Mathnasium twice a week with his siblings. 

All three children crave routine and thrive off structure. They are all incredibly sweet, smart, love to learn new things and stay active. They are all in swimming in the summertime and enjoy going to the country club to play tennis and swim. 

The family needs someone who is very responsive, a great communicator, present, and proactive, with the ability to set loving but firm boundaries. 

They are seeking someone who will be an extension of their parenting team and home, helping to ensure the household runs smoothly and successfully.

Duties will include: 

Childcare:

• Preparing meals, snacks and lunches
• Managing the children’s after-school and summer activities; including transportation 
• Conflict management when needed
• Prepping backpacks for school
• Supporting their independence and encouraging their participation in household chores

House Management:

• Daily dishes, cleaning the sink, tidying the kitchen, wiping down countertops, and vacuuming if necessary
• Family laundry
• Running errands as needed
• Taking out garbage and recycling, breaking down boxes, and bringing garbage and recycling to the curb and back
• Making of family beds 
• Tidying common areas and putting away basement toys
• Encouraging the children to pick up after themselves
• Putting groceries away, dinner prep (mostly vegetarian at home with some meat)

Pet Care:

• The family has a 20-pound Australian Labradoodle who is (very) low maintenance. Walking him if time permits would be appreciated

Schedule:

• School Year: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm-5:30/6:30pm, with weekend availability for 3-4 hours (7am-12pm). They are flexible on day and hours. Occasional date night and overnight nights to be planned with advance notice. 
• Summer: Monday to Friday, 8am-3pm

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay Range: $28-32 per hour BOE
• Benefits: Guaranteed weekly hours, paid federal holidays,  5 days of PTO (of nanny’s choice) with 8 weeks' notice, extra PTO when family takes vacation, 3 paid sick days, an option for a health insurance stipend, raises and bonuses based on performance, and the use of a family vehicle.
