Nanny House Manager: Waunakee, WI

A warm, active, and welcoming professional family is seeking an experienced Nanny House Manager to become a true partner in raising their three children. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who is passionate about child development, thrives in an organized home, and enjoys balancing engaging childcare with thoughtful household support.

The family has three wonderful children: an energetic and curious kindergartener who loves baseball, music, space, and learning; a spirited and independent two-year-old who enjoys helping in the kitchen, being outdoors, and keeping up with her older brother; and a newborn joining the family late summer. The older children attend school and preschool during portions of the day, allowing time to focus on the baby while also helping the household run smoothly.

The ideal candidate is experienced caring for newborns, toddlers, and school-aged children and is confident managing multiple ages simultaneously. They are dependable, proactive, highly organized, and an excellent communicator who views this profession as a long-term career. 

The family is looking for someone who naturally brings engaging ideas, educational opportunities, outdoor adventures, creativity, and structure into each day while also knowing when to slow down, be present, and simply enjoy childhood.

A background in education, bilingual Spanish, or musical experience would all be wonderful additions but are not required.

In addition to exceptional childcare, the Nanny House Manager will help support the daily flow of the home through responsibilities such as children's laundry, meal preparation, starting family dinners, loading and unloading the dishwasher, maintaining organized children's spaces, and proactively resetting the home throughout the day. The goal is to create an environment where the family can fully enjoy their evenings together.

Position Details:

• Start Date: September 21, 2026 (flexible for early October)
• Compensation: $27–31/hour, based on experience

• Schedule: 

The schedule follows Mom's hospital rotation and will be provided well in advance each year.

• Hospital Weeks (approximately 17 weeks per year): Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM 
• Non-Hospital Weeks: Thursdays 7:30 AM–5:00 PM; all other weekdays 7:30 AM–2:30 PM 

• Benefits: Paid holidays, health insurance stipend, mileage reimbursement, paid CPR/First Aid renewal, 5 days PTO, 5 sick days, plus approximately 4 additional weeks of paid vacation to align with family's each year (2 weeks at Christmas, Spring Break, and a summer vacation)
• Vehicle: Must have a reliable vehicle that accommodates three car seats
