An active, loving family in Middleton is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nanny/House Manager to join their home long-term. This professional household includes five delightful boys (ages 12, 10, 7, 5, and 3), and they are looking for a confident, warm, and proactive caregiver who can support both the children and the day-to-day rhythm of their household.
About the Role:
This is a dynamic hybrid role that blends high-quality childcare with thoughtful household management. During the school year, the older children are in school full-time, while the 5-year-old attends half-day preschool and the 3-year-old remains home full-time. Summers will involve “divide and conquer” style teamwork with mom, as all five children will be home. The family deeply values healthy living, organic meals, and a home environment rooted in connection, love and warmth.
Childcare Responsibilities:
- School drop-offs and pick-ups using the family vehicle
- Engaging the younger children in meaningful, developmentally appropriate activities
- Managing afternoon transitions and supporting family routines
- Preparing and serving healthy, fresh meals
- Helping to support a 3-year-old with speech therapy needs (added bonus if you have experience here, but not needed!).
Household Management:
- Family laundry
- Light tidying and organizational upkeep
- Calendar/email management and streamlining family logistics
- General support to keep household operations running smoothly
The Ideal Candidate:
The family is looking for someone:
- Calm, grounded, and joyful
- Highly organized and a natural self-starter
- Excellent with executive functioning and time management
- Skilled in both caring for young children and keeping a home running efficiently
- Health-conscious and enthusiastic about preparing wholesome meals
- Creative and engaged, with a “see the need and do it” mindset. Someone who loves nature and arts + crafts is an added bonus!
- A true partner to the parents, working in harmony with them
You’ll be working closely with mom (an entrepreneur launching a new business) and supporting dad’s schedule as a NICU physician. Strong communication, flexibility, and professionalism are essential.
Compensation & Benefits:
- 30 hours/week guaranteed pay
- $29–$32/hour, based on experience
- 5 days PTO of the nanny’s choice
- Additional PTO when the family is away and care is not needed
- 3 paid sick days annually
- Holiday PTO (the nanny may occasionally be needed on a holiday if Dad is scheduled at the hospital; at least 3 months’ advance notice will be given)
- Health insurance stipend (amount based on nanny’s individual needs)
- Use of a family vehicle during working hours
Additional Notes to Consider:
- The family has the sweetest labradoodle with a gentle, loving demeanor. He is well-behaved and a true part of the family!
This is a wonderful opportunity to become a valued part of a loving, fast-paced family that thrives on connection, care, and collaboration.
