A kind, welcoming family living on beautiful Lake Mendota is seeking an experienced Nanny House Manager to partner with them in caring for their toddler and supporting the day-to-day flow of their home.
Both parents have demanding careers as physicians and deeply value their downtime together as a family. They enjoy staying active, swimming, going for walks, reading, traveling, and discovering new supper clubs. They value a nanny who understands the pace and flexibility required in physician life and can be a steady, supportive presence in their home.
The toddler is sweet, curious, and full of joyful little-boy energy. He loves trains, cars, books, going on walks, and exploring new parks. A big hugger who freely shows affection, he thrives with a warm, emotionally attuned caregiver who can meet his sensitive, loving nature. He attends preschool during the day and genuinely enjoys learning and exploring new things!
This role beautifully blends nannying and household management and is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, variety, and being a true partner to parents. The family guarantees 30 hours per week, with additional hours available based on on-call needs. Schedules are planned ~3 months in advance, though flexibility is essential.
Typical Schedule Highlights:
The NHM can set their own daily house management schedule - for example, completing grocery shopping on Mondays and tackling household tasks in one day, or spreading them over 2–3 days. The family is flexible, but once a schedule is established, it should remain consistent to ensure continuity for both the NHM and the household.
