Infant Nanny House Manager: Elm Grove, WI

A warm, loving, and deeply devoted first-time mom in Elm Grove is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Nanny/House Manager to become a trusted and valued extension of her family.

This is a particularly special opportunity to work alongside a mother whose life is rooted in caring for others. As a physician, she is incredibly passionate about women's healthcare, education, and mentoring the next generation of medical professionals. Her work has taken her around the world, and she brings that same curiosity, compassion, and dedication to motherhood.

Outside of her career, Mom is active, adventurous, and family-oriented. She loves running, boating, water sports, traveling, and college basketball. She comes from a close-knit family and treasures her role as an aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She values a healthy, active lifestyle and looks forward to sharing that same spirit with her daughter.

At the heart of this home is a sweet, healthy newborn baby girl and a beloved Golden Retriever who is very much considered part of the family!

Mom is seeking a nanny who is exceptionally reliable, dependable, nurturing, and confident in caring for infants. As a single working mother with a demanding medical career, she will rely heavily on her nanny and hopes to establish a relationship built on mutual trust, open communication, and genuine partnership.

Mom hopes to find someone whose personality naturally complements her own easygoing, flexible approach to life. She appreciates a caregiver who brings a sense of calm, warmth, and confidence into the home and can navigate the everyday joys and challenges of caring for an infant with patience and grace. She especially values someone who is attentive and knowledgeable about infant development, understands what is typical as babies grow and change, and has the experience and judgment to recognize when something may warrant a closer look or a conversation with Mom.

Equally important is finding someone who genuinely delights in spending time with her daughter! Whether it's singing songs, engaging in tummy time, reading books, exploring age-appropriate activities, or heading outside for a walk, Mom hopes to find someone who is energetic, attentive, and fully present.

The family's Golden Retriever is also an important part of the household. A genuine dog lover who will happily include her in daily routines, walks, and family life would be a wonderful fit.

Childcare

• Provide loving, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care for one infant.
• Support feeding routines 
• Encourage developmental milestones through interactive play, tummy time, reading, music, and outdoor activities.
• Maintain consistent routines surrounding feeding, naps, and daily care.
• Keep child-related spaces and belongings organized.
• Provide regular updates and photos throughout the day.
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.

Household Management

• Grocery pickups and occasional errands or returns.
• Light meal preparation, with opportunities for additional cooking if the candidate enjoys it.
• Assistance with maintaining an organized and smoothly running household.
• Basic care for the family's Golden Retriever, including feeding, fresh water, letting her in and out of the fenced yard, and walks as needed.

This position offers a unique schedule designed around Mom's hospital responsibilities. Schedule will be provided at least one month in advance, allowing the nanny to plan accordingly.

• Monday–Thursday: Hours generally fall between 8:00am–5:30pm.
• Friday: Hours generally fall between 7:40am–4:30pm.
• Two Thursdays per month: Extended shifts from approximately 6:20am–6:30pm.
• One weekend day per month: Saturday or Sunday, approximately 6:20am–7:30pm.
• One Wednesday overnight per month: Regular daytime hours followed by overnight coverage through approximately 7:30am Thursday, with a short break built into the afternoon.

Flexibility and comfort with occasional extended shifts and overnight care are essential. Mom is committed to providing advance notice and maintaining clear communication surrounding scheduling needs.

Hourly Compensation

• $27–$30/hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate for all hours worked beyond 40 in a workweek.

• Health insurance stipend available based on the candidate's individual needs and overall compensation package.
• Mileage reimbursement at the standard IRS rate for work-related driving.

Start Date: December 7 or 14th, 2026, for a transition and onboarding week, with the regular full-time schedule beginning January 4, 2027.

Vaccinations: Candidates must be current on applicable vaccinations, including Tdap and willing to get seasonal influenza.
