Nanny House Manager: Madison, WI

A down-to-earth and loving family located in the beautiful Dudgeon-Monroe neighborhood is seeking a dedicated nanny to join their family long-term. 

With two young children and hopes of expanding their family in the future, they are looking for someone who will truly become an extension of their family - someone steady, calm, and grounded who will help foster a warm and enriching environment for their little ones.

About the Family:

This family thrives on routine and consistency while embracing the magic of childhood. Mom and Dad own a family business and have flexible and often changing schedules, working in and out of the home. They love spending time with family and friends, making holidays extra special, and being active members of their community.

Their two children are a joy - an affectionate and sweet toddler who loves learning new things and a four-month-old baby who is simply adorable. The family values Montessori-inspired teaching, fostering independence in their children while maintaining a safe and nurturing home. They prioritize little to no screen time and encourage creative, hands-on play.

Ideal Candidate:

• A warm, positive, and proactive nanny who is highly organized and a self-starter.
• Someone who genuinely loves working with children and will care for them as their own.
• A nanny who is adaptable, enjoys teamwork with parents, and can seamlessly transition throughout the day as schedules shift.
• An "old soul" with a steady presence, who is calm, thoughtful, and can guide the children in their development.
• Comfort around pools (as they belong to Nakoma Country Club) and willingness to facilitate outdoor play and adventure.
• Someone comfortable with household management duties, including tidying common areas, family laundry, meal prep, and staying ahead of daily household tasks to help the family optimize time together. 

Schedule & Compensation:

• Start Date: August
• Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (guaranteed 30 hours/week)
• Pay Range: $26 - $30 per hour (NHM)
• Benefits:
  • 5 days PTO of nanny’s choosing
  • Up to 10 additional PTO days to align with the family’s vacation schedule
  • 3 sick days
  • Paid federal holidays
  • Health insurance stipend based on nanny’s needs
  • Mileage reimbursement or use of family vehicle
  • Travel with family with all expenses paid

Additional Details:

• Home & Location: Located in a walkable Madison neighborhood close to Monroe St. and Nakoma
• Pets: One friendly 8-year-old dog (letting her out in the fenced backyard as needed).
• Vaccination Requirements: COVID-vaccinated and up-to-date on all other vaccinations.
