Full-Time Nanny/Nanny House Manager: Maidson, WI

A kind, laid-back and fun-loving family in Madison, WI is seeking a warm + loving nanny to join their family. 

As a family they love to spend time outdoors and enjoy going for hikes, swimming, and playing at the beach. They love to have family dance parties (so fun!) and spend time at the farmer’s market. 

The three year old has the sweetest personality. She is a natural leader with a big imagination. She loves coming up with games and putting on performances for mom and dad. Her current favorite to sing and dance to is Taylor Swift.

The six month old is a happy, observant baby with a sweet disposition. He loves to explore his surroundings and is currently working hard to crawl! He adores his big sister and loves watching her sing + dance. 

The family is seeking a nanny with kindness, warmth, and a calming presence. The ideal candidate will be an extension of mom and dad, meet the children with grace, and be able to hold loving-but-firm boundaries when needed. Reliability, consistency, and good communication are key, along with a gentle approach that fosters the children’s independence and imagination.

The family hopes to find a nanny that will encourage curiosity and give the children space to have quiet moments of discovery, creating a balance between structured activities and down-time. 

The family is also open to a nanny that is interested in taking on greater responsibilities and coming on as a nanny house manager (or growing into one). The children are always the main priority and the family is open to a schedule that makes sense for the nanny house manager. 

Household management tasks could include: light tidying + organization, family laundry, larger family meal prep, cooking of family meals, and running errands. They want the NHM  to wholeheartedly love their role and are open to any ideas they have or want to include.

The family views the nanny as a part of their family and wants them to feel at home in their home. They view this partnership as a collaborative effort and hope to find someone to be with them for years to come. 

Interviewing now with the position to begin the first week of August. 

Schedule: M-Fr: 9am-5pm 

Compensation: $24-30/hr BOE and if candidate is interested in house management 

Benefits: 40 hours guaranteed per week, 5 days PTO of nanny’s choice, extra PTO when family takes vacation, travel with family with all travel expenses paid, 3 paid sick days, paid federal holidays, mileage reimbursement, option for health insurance stipend, and raises + bonuses based on performance
