Long-Term Nanny & Family Office Assistant
Location: Middleton, WI / Near West Side Madison
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule Options:
A wonderful family is seeking a long-term childcare professional to join their family. They are open to finding the right person for either of two schedules, depending on a candidate's experience, interests, and availability.
For the right candidate, the family would love to create a unique hybrid position that combines office administration with afternoon childcare.
9:00 AM–2:00 PM | Family Business Office — Near West Side Madison
During school hours, the nanny would work at the family's small business office, providing light administrative and organizational support. Responsibilities may include:
2:00 PM–6:00 PM | Nanny — Family Residence in Middleton
The afternoon transitions into a dedicated childcare role with the family's three children, ages 10, 6, and 3. Responsibilities include:
Full-Time Compensation: ~$60,000 annually with guaranteed hours, plus full benefits.
The family is also open to finding a dedicated afternoon nanny who would join them Monday–Friday beginning around 2:00 PM-6:00PM.
This position would focus exclusively on the children and their afternoon routines, including school pickup, transportation to activities, homework, outdoor play, reading, enrichment, snacks, and helping the children transition into their evening routines.
This would be an excellent opportunity for a nanny who is specifically looking for a consistent, Monday–Friday afternoon schedule and wants to build a meaningful, long-term relationship with a family.
The family has three children, ages 10, 6, and 3, and values safety, consistency, healthy routines, learning, kindness, and open communication.
They are looking for someone who will become a trusted, long-term partner in their family's life, rather than someone who is simply looking for a short-term position. The ideal candidate will be warm and engaging with the children while also being responsible, organized, proactive, and dependable.
The family has existing household support, so this is not a housekeeping position. Light tidying and organization related to the children is expected, but there is no deep cleaning or laundry required.
The family is looking for someone who is:
For the full-time position, administrative or office experience is a plus, but the family is ultimately looking for someone who is a wonderful fit for both their business and their children.
Whether you're looking for a full-time position that combines office administration and childcare or a consistent afternoon nanny role, this family is hoping to find the right person who is interested in growing with them for the long term.
They are excited to welcome someone who will become a trusted and valued part of their family's support system and are looking to begin the search immediately.
