Full Time Infant Nanny: Madison, WI (near Hilldale)

A professional and active family near Hilldale in Madison, WI, is looking for an experienced nanny to join their household.

Both parents have busy careers and truly value their down-time together. They share a love for running, rock climbing, hiking and traveling. They recently welcomed their first child and have been enjoying soaking up time as a family of three!

The family is eco-conscious in their daily lives, prioritizing sustainability by using reusable products (including cloth diapers) and minimizing food waste. They hope to find a nanny who embraces these values and can help nurture this lifestyle with their daughter.

The nanny will be responsible for maintaining the baby’s daily routine, creating + implementing developmental activities, and collaborating with the parents to create a calm, positive atmosphere. The nanny may occasionally facilitate visits to the mother’s nearby work office for feedings and mid-day visits with mom. 

As first-time parents, they seek a supportive nanny who brings positivity, a level-headed demeanor, and a proactive approach to hands-on, screen-free activities, with an emphasis on outdoor play, reading and music.

Rooted in German heritage, the family values cultural understanding and is raising their daughter to be bilingual in English and German. A nanny with conversational or native-level German language skills would be a wonderful asset in supporting her language development. A signing bonus is offered to a candidate who can help immerse her in the German language.

Schedule: M-Fr: 9am-5pm

Compensation: $24-28/hr BOE

Benefits: 40 hours guaranteed, 5 days PTO, Additional PTO when family travels, 3 paid sick days, paid federal holidays, mileage reimbursement or use of a family vehicle (family is also close to the bus line), option for monthly health insurance stipend

• Neighborhood: very walkable + close to local parks, Hilldale, and bike path
• Dad has an in-home office. Nanny must be comfortable with a parent working from home.
