Full Time Nanny: Madison, WI (Shorewood Hills)

A warm and welcoming family in the beautiful Shorewood Hills neighborhood is seeking a nurturing and experienced nanny to care for their two-year-old daughter and newborn son.

Nestled in a walkable neighborhood filled with parks and green space, this family’s surroundings mirror their love for the outdoors and active living. Both parents have full professional schedules and truly value their down time together, grounding their home life in community, nature, and meaningful connection. They recently welcomed their second child and are joyfully settling into life as a family of four.

Their toddler is a happy, easy-going little girl who loves being outdoors, going for walks, and engaging in hands-on play. She has a cheerful disposition, is a great sleeper and eater (she happily enjoys a wide range of fruits and vegetables), and thrives on routine. She adores her baby dolls, stuffed animals, and is already embracing her new role as big sister with affection and pride.

This family is looking for a nanny who brings positive energy, calm confidence, and a naturally engaging presence. The ideal person is nurturing, proactive, and invested in both infant and toddler development. A candidate who enjoys preparing healthy meals, embraces active days out at the park, library, or neighborhood walks, and finds joy in play-based learning will be a wonderful fit.

Their daughter is very social and curious. She loves people-watching, reading, singing, and being part of the action—so the family values a nanny who is interactive, emotionally attuned, and truly present. A motherly touch and thoughtful structure are highly appreciated.

The family is also open to a Nanny House Manager role for candidates interested in broader support responsibilities. While their children remain the top priority, help with meal prep and light household management would be a welcome bonus.

Mom works from home and values a collaborative, easygoing relationship with the nanny. Comfort with this dynamic is important, as is the ability to balance shared space while taking initiative. The nanny is 100% responsible for maintaining the children's daily routines. 

Position Details:

• Start Date: June 2nd; flexible for the right candidate
   
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm (with some flexibility)
   
• Compensation: $26–$28+/hr BOE
