A busy, active and super fun family in Oregon (closer to Madison!) is seeking a professional and loving long-term nanny for their 4 children.
The family owns + runs a beautiful farm in Oregon and are passionate about all things outdoors + farming! They also enjoy going for bike rides together, going hiking, and going to farmers markets on the weekends.
The family consists of 4 children, ages 6, 5, 2 and 8 months old. The 8 month old (boy) is sweet, easy-going and loves to try and keep up with his siblings. The 2 year old (girl) loves playing dolls and being girly all while loving keeping up with the boys on the farm, the 5 year old (boy) loves all things farm (the cows, tractor, trucks,) and is truly Dad's mini me, the 6 year old loves sports (soccer, bball + baseball), playing games, and riding bikes.
Mom and Dad hope to find a nanny who will love their children as they do and be present, engaging and creative with them. Due to their demanding schedules, they rely 100% on the nanny to be reliable and dependable.
The ideal candidate will be experienced and confident working with multiple children from infant to school age range. He/she will be loving-but-firm, be able to set boundaries, is safety oriented, wants to work as a team with mom and dad and will not need micromanaging. . A nanny with a genuine love for the outdoors is a major bonus!
The nanny will be responsible for all 4 children in the summertime and must be able to maintain their daily schedules. The children are very flexible and the two youngest will nap while out and about. The family would love the nanny to take the children on adventures (zoo, children's museum, Olbrich Gardens, hiking, etc) and keep them busy!
During the school year, the nanny will have the two youngest full day and will pick up the two oldest from school mid-morning and afternoon.
The children are the nanny's main priority and when there is down time, the family would appreciate help loading/unloading the dishwasher, maintaining the kids laundry and encouraging them to help with light household chores such as: vacuuming, wiping down the dining table, and keeping their common areas tidy.
The family truly values the nanny's role and views them as a part of their family. They are interviewing now and the nanny can start as soon as possible with the hopes of staying several years with the family!
Schedule: Monday-Thursday: 7:30am-5:30pm *option to add on Fridays if nanny desires
Compensation: $23-25+/hr
Benefits: 1 week PTO of nanny's choice, paid federal holidays, raises and bonuses based on performance *benefits negotiable during interview process based on nanny's needs
Notes:
Family has one friendly yellow lab. Nanny must be comfortable with dogs
