Full-Time Infant Nanny: Madison, WI

 A warm and laid-back family recently welcomed their first child, and are seeking a loving + experienced nanny to join their family. 

Mom and Dad share a love for the outdoors and live music. They both have busy careers but truly value spending quality time together. 

Their daughter is currently thriving in the NICU and is making incredible progress. She is expected to join her family at home in just a few weeks.

She is a calm and loving baby who enjoys observing the world around her, being held, and snuggling, making her a favorite among the NICU staff. This family is eager to embark on this next chapter together and is seeking a nanny to support them with love and care as they transition to life at home.

The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned professional with newborn experience, especially confident in supporting infants as they grow and develop. They value a nanny who is calm, compassionate, loving, and self-motivated, with a knack for open communication and a strong sense of trustworthiness. This person will serve as an extension of their family, providing exceptional care while creating a peaceful and positive environment for their daughter.

Key Details of the Position:

• Schedule: Core hours are 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with a minimum guarantee of 35 hours per week. The nanny’s schedule will be provided a month in advance. Some shifts will begin in the morning, while others may start later in the afternoon, depending on mom’s night rotations at the hospital.
• The family encourages the nanny to feel comfortable staying overnight when shifts run late, especially during mom’s night rotations. The nanny will have her own private floor with a private bathroom for ultimate convenience, if they choose to stay. 
• Infant-Focused Duties: Light infant-related housework, such as baby laundry and tidying up baby areas.

Compensation and Benefits:

•  $22-24+/hour based on experience
• Open to providing a health insurance stipend based on the nanny’s needs
• Paid time off includes 5 days of PTO of the nanny’s choice, 5 sick days, and 2+ additional weeks of family PTO
• Paid federal holidays
• Mileage reimbursement
