Full Time Infant Nanny: East Madison, WI

A warm, loving, and creative family is seeking a confident & kind-hearted nanny for their infant daughter. 

Both parents work in the tech/startup space from home in a dedicated office. They share a love for creativity, lifelong learning, and their work. They enjoy staying active, tending to their many beloved plants, playing music, and savoring good coffee. They highly value curiosity, emotional intelligence, and intentional parenting, and are committed to creating a calm, nurturing, and emotionally aware environment for their child.

They welcomed their daughter at the start of the new year and have loved settling into life as a family of three. She is already showing off for her parents with longer sleep stretches, a love for car rides, and a clear enjoyment of being worn in a carrier. She is thriving in a home that prioritizes responsiveness, safety, and gentle, attentive care.

The family also has two friendly cats who are wonderful with the baby and a natural part of daily life.

This family is looking for a nanny who is caring, gentle, and kind, while also confident in their nannying skills. As first-time parents, they are seeking someone who can provide peace of mind; someone safety-focused, emotionally attuned, and well versed in all things infant/toddler. 

They deeply value a nanny who is curious, engaged, and excited to learn alongside their child, and who feels comfortable talking about emotions + modeling that all feelings are welcome and valid. Because both parents work from home, the ideal candidate will feel at ease in a collaborative environment where parents may occasionally pop in during work breaks, while still confidently maintaining the flow of the infant’s day. The parents are not micromanagers and are seeking a nanny who appreciates a true partnership built on trust, autonomy, and open communication.

Role Overview:

• Attentive & Loving Infant Care: The role centers entirely on nurturing and supporting the baby’s daily needs, including feeding, soothing, play, and development
   
• Maintaining baby-centered spaces: The nanny will help keep areas related to the baby organized, tidy, and fully stocked, ensuring that daily routines run smoothly and the household stays well-prepared for each stage of the baby’s day. No deep cleaning needed as family has bi-weekly cleanings done
   
• Growth and enrichment as the baby develops: As the child grows, the role will naturally expand to include engaging outings and age-appropriate activities such as stroller walks, music classes, library visits, and other experiences that support the baby’s learning, curiosity, and social development.

• Monday–Friday
   
• Morning start: any time 7:30–9:00 AM (set once established)
   
• Afternoon end:  3:30–5:00 PM depending on what start time is agreed upon
   

• Competitive hourly pay based on experience ($26-29/hr) with 40 hours guaranteed
