This active family of five lives a vibrant, community-centered lifestyle. Both parents have fast-paced, high-responsibility careers that often require travel. This dynamic makes the Family Assistant a vital and trusted presence in the day-to-day rhythm of the household. 

At their core, this is a fun-loving, outdoorsy, and social family that values time with neighbors, friends, and extended family. They love staying active by playing sports, going for bike rides, golfing, and they are raising their children with that same spirit of energy, kindness, and connection.

They have a wonderful au=pair who cares for their three children who are 8, 5, and 18 months. Although childcare is not a part of the Family Assistant's role, the family hopes they build a wonderful relationship filled with warmth and kindness.
 

What They’re Looking For:

The family is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and dependable Family Assistant to support the smooth operation of our household. This role does not include any childcare responsibilities and is focused entirely on managing behind-the-scenes tasks to help a busy family stay organized and on track.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing household errands (grocery shopping, returns, dry cleaning, etc.)
   
• Organizing household systems (closets, pantry, supplies)
   
• Coordinating appointments, schedules, and house services needed
   
• Light housekeeping and laundry
   
• Meal prep and grocery inventory
   
• Helping with party prep/sending thank you cards/gifts, etc.
   

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, takes initiative, communicates clearly, and enjoys creating order in a dynamic home environment. Schedule and hours are flexible and can be customized for the right person.

The family keeps a clean, organized home and is looking for someone who shares and respects that value.

They are looking for a true partner; someone who doesn’t need to be micromanaged, who can think ahead, solve problems as they arise, and who genuinely enjoys being a Family Assistant. 

Position Details:

• Start Date + Schedule: Early August + Flexible Schedule - 20-30 hours guaranteed
   
• Transportation: Family vehicle provided or mileage reimbursed
   
• Location: Middleton, WI
   

Compensation & Benefits:

• $28–$30+/hour (commensurate with experience
   
• 10 days PTO (FA’s choice)
   
• 3 paid sick days
