Now servicing the Milwaukee area!
A professional, kind, and welcoming family in Madison, WI is seeking an experienced + caring nanny to join their family.
As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors whether it’s going hiking, adventuring to a local park, or going on family walks. With a major love of cooking + baking, you can often find them in the kitchen trying new recipes together. They also prioritize a sense of community and enjoy hosting their family/friends. They welcomed their second child in January and have loved spending time as a new family of four!
Their 4.5 year old is incredibly sweet and caring. He loves imaginary play and being creative. He goes to Montessori school and will only be in the nanny’s care on non-school days or is home sick.
The nanny’s main responsibility will be the newborn (3 months old at the start of position).
The family is hoping to find someone who has a genuine passion and love for working with infants. Someone who will be hands-on, present, and fully engage with her throughout the day will be a great match for this family.
The family is looking for a nanny with a comprehensive understanding of infant care; someone who can cultivate a nurturing and affectionate environment for their child. Mom and Dad prioritize a caregiver who will shower their little one with love and ensure her needs are met, providing them with the peace of mind that she is in the best of hands.
It is imperative that the nanny prioritizes safety and follows safe sleep protocol. Mom and Dad truly view the nanny as an extension of their parenting team and hope to work as a team to provide the best care possible for their children.
The family hopes to find a nanny who prioritizes crafting a stimulating and enriching environment for the children that doesn't involve screen-based activities. They value hands-on, interactive experiences to foster the children's growth and well-being.
The nanny will be responsible for full-care of the infant; maintaining her daily routine and implementing age-appropriate activities to foster her growth and development. The family lives near several parks and walking trails and would love the nanny to get her outside when appropriate.
When there is down time, the family would appreciate help with child-related tasks such as: children’s laundry, maintaining the nursery, and tidying/cleaning of baby-related items.
The family is excited to welcome their new nanny and are seeking someone long-term. Interviewing now with the position to begin in late March/early April.
Schedule: M, Th, Fr: 8am-6pm -or- 7am-5pm
Compensation: $22-25+/hr BOE
Benefits: 3 days PTO of nanny’s choice, Extra PTO when family takes vacation, 3 paid sick days, paid federal holidays, raises and bonuses based on performance, *benefits negotiable during interview process
Notes:

-Dad has an in-home office that he may work from. Nanny is fully responsible for the infant’s day but must be okay with a parent working from home at times.
-Covid vaccination is preferred but are considering both
