A fun and active family in Oregon, WI is looking for warm + loving summer nanny for their 12 and 10 year old.
As a family they love to stay active and enjoy the outdoors. In the wintertime you can find them on the ski hill snowboarding and skiing and in the spring/summertime you can find them camping, boating, hiking and play sports year round.
The 12 year old (girl) has a sweet, warm and playful personality. She is thoughtful and kind and is becoming such a neat young lady. She loves to play volleyball and do arts + crafts.
The 10 year old (boy) has such a fun sense of humor and is quite the old soul. He loves black and white movies, golf, swim and tennis.
The family has 5 chickens and 2 bunnies and love spending time with them all!
The family is looking for a nanny to spend the summer with the children. The family envisions the nanny planning fun outdoor activities, play dates, + adventures for them to go on and taking them to their summer activities. The family also has a membership at a local country club that the nanny can take the children to.
The ideal candidate will be extremely present + engaging with the children and have a genuine passion for working with children in the school-aged age range.
A nanny who has a loving + warm disposition and has a sense of adventure will be a wonderful fit for this family.
The family hopes to find someone who is confident working with children and can be loving-but-firm when needed. Understanding when the children need down time is equally as important as engaging them in activities.
The 10 year old has extreme allergies to peanuts and tree nuts and must have an epipen near him at all times. The nanny must have one on them at all times and be aware of the boy's surroundings at all times. It is crucial the nanny is mindful of this and not bring anything into the home or eat anything prior to coming into the home that contains either peanuts or tree nuts. The family will show the nanny how to use the epipen if they are not familiar with it, but having prior experience with allergies is a major bonus.
The family also has slight allergies to both cats and dogs. They prefer a candidate that has a pet free home due to this.
Extra duties will include helping unload/load the dishwasher, keeping common areas tidy, and helping to run the occasional errand such as grocery shopping.
The family view the summer nanny as an important part of the family and would love to find a candidate that could be with them for summers to come!

Schedule: 9am-3pm
Compensation: $20-25+/hr BOE
Benefits: 30 hours of guaranteed pay per week, PTO when family takes vacation, 4th of July PTO
Notes:
-family is covid conscious and hopes to find a nanny who is as well. Covid vaccination is a must
-The family will potentially have a vehicle for the nanny to use at times, but most times will be expected to drive the children in their own car. Mileage reimbursement will be paid at the standard IRS rate for 2023
-Severe allergies in the household. Candidate must be mindful of this at all times.
