Part-Time Afternoon Nanny: Waunakee

A kind and welcoming dual physician household, is looking for an experienced nanny for their 2 children. 

Both Mom and Dad have busy careers in the medical field, so when there is down-time, they enjoy spending quality time with their boys. They enjoy being active, going for walks, adventuring to local parks and being outside as much as possible. 

The oldest is 8 years old and has autism. He is non-verbal and uses a talker device to communicate. He loves to be silly, play outside and is big on routines! The youngest is 2 and is incredibly sweet and loving. He loves to chat and read books. 

The family is looking for a nanny who has experience working with children on the spectrum. Their ideal candidate will be kind, loving, patient, adaptable and have a gentle nature about them. They hope to find a nanny who will be present and engaging with their boys and give them peace of mind they are in the best of hands while they are at the hospital working. 

The family envisions the nanny coming up with creative and fun activities for the boys to engage in, getting them outside, and helping maintain their daily afternoon routines. 

The nanny will help with school pick-up, light household duties such as loading/unloading the dishwasher, making well balanced meals and snacks for the boys, kids laundry, light vacuuming, and help with meal prep & dinner 1-2x/week would be a major bonus!

The family looks at the nanny as a part of the family and truly values their role. They look forward to welcoming their new nanny to the family!

Schedule: Monday-Friday: 2pm-6pm *potential for more hours in the summertime

Compensation:  $23-27+/hr BOE     

Benefits:  20 hours of pay guaranteed each week, 5 days PTO, paid time off when family takes vacation, paid federal holidays that land on the nanny's scheduled days, raises and bonuses based on performance
