Part or Full Time Infant Nanny: Madison, WI

A fun, kind and outdoor loving family in downtown Madison is looking for an experienced infant nanny to join their family. 

Both parents are busy professionals in the the Madison area. They love the outdoors and enjoy spending time on the lake, golfing, playing tennis and traveling. They visit California and Colorado often and love exploring new places. They are expecting their first child in July and are looking forward to being first-time parents! 

Once baby arrives, the family envisions the nanny helping 1-2 nights/week, plus 1-2 days/week. As baby gets older, the nanny will have 4 day time shifts/week. 

 The family is hoping to find a nanny with extensive infant experience and one who is looking to grow with a family and stay with them long-term. Someone who genuinely loves working with infants, is knowledgable in developmental milestones and enjoys working as a team with mom and dad with be a great fit for this family. 

The ideal candidate will be attentive, proactive, loving, and have strong morals. The parents are looking for a nanny who does not need to be micromanaged and will come in and hit the ground running. 

The nanny will be 100% responsible for the baby's needs when in the home. The family is looking for a nanny who enjoys creating and implementing stimulating (age-appropriate) activities to encourage development and growth. They hope the nanny will read to the infant, get them outside for walks and provide a safe + loving environment for her to be in. 

The family travels throughout the year and are seeking a nanny who wants to join them on family trips. When the family does not need to nanny travel, the nanny will receive their normal pay. There will also be times when mom and dad take time away together and the nanny will stay with the infant. 

When there is down-time, the family would appreciate help with baby laundry, keeping play areas organized and tidy, loading/unloading the dishwasher, and running errands. They encourage the nanny to find activities in the community to bring baby to and will provide any resources needed. 

These parents truly view their nanny as being a part of their parenting team and family. They want the nanny to feel respected, valued and supported at all times. As first time parents, they will look to the nanny and their expertise for advice and look forward to working as a team to provide the best care possible for their infant. They would love updates throughout the day and pictures of the nanny +. infant's adventures!

Interviewing now with the nanny to begin a week after baby arrives at the beginning of July. 

Nanny's Schedule: Flexible: 1-2 nights/week, 1-2 days/week. Once baby is a bit older (~2-3 months), the nanny will have 4 day shifts *hours are flexible and to be agreed upon between nanny and family 

Compensation:  $25-28+/hr BOE

Benefits: 20-30 hours guaranteed/week, paid major federal holidays, 5 days PTO of nanny's choice, travel with family with all expenses paid outside of what nanny does on his/her downtime, raises and bonuses based on performance 

Notes: 

• Nanny must have or obtain a valid passport 
• Mom will be in and out of the home. The nanny will 100% be in charge when she is in the home, but must be comfortable with mom being in and out throughout the day.
