Now servicing the Milwaukee area!
A busy, professional and loving family in Madison is looking for an experienced nanny to join their family.
Both parents have demanding careers in the medical and financial fields. When there is down time, they value spending quality time together as a family of four. They love spending time outdoors, venturing to the farmer's market, local coffee shops + parks, and the zoo. They also love to travel and visit Door County with they can!
The family consists of 2 children: a 3 year old and an 18 month old. The 3 year old goes to school full days, so the main focus will be on the 18 month old. Both children are incredibly sweet, loving and curious. They love to play together, have dance parties and love on their sweet lab.
The 18 month old loves all things trucks. He is an old soul and is extremely loving. He loves keeping up with his older sister and is such a fun-loving little boy.
The nanny's main duties will be maintaining the toddler's daily routine, creating fun + age appropriate activities to encourage + support his development, and most importantly, maintaining a safe and loving space for him to learn and grow in. The nanny will also be responsible for helping with preschool transportation.
Due to the nature of the parent's careers, it is imperative that the nanny is extremely reliable and dependable. The parents will rely 100% on the nanny to give them peace of mind that the children are in the best of hands so they can be present at work. Being on time is a must.
The ideal candidate will be loving, warm, empathetic, adaptable, and reliable. They hope to find someone who values open-communication and has a genuine love for working with children + supporting families.
Mom and Dad truly view the nanny as an extension of their parenting team. Both parents operate with humor and have a fun-loving approach to parenting. They hope to find a nanny who has this approach as well.
Extra duties that would be appreciated are help with loading/unloading dishwasher (hand-washing when appropriate), lunch prep for the children, children's laundry + bedding, and general organization + tidiness of the common areas. Grocery shopping + light meal prep is a major bonus. No major cleaning is necessary.
The family is open to two schedules. One being a part-time role where the nanny helps with preschool drop off + pick up with house management duties and the other a 45 hour/week full-time schedule.
They look forward to welcoming their nanny and hope to have them long-term.
