Now servicing the Milwaukee area!
A busy, professional and loving family in Madison is looking for an experienced nanny to join their family.
Both parents have demanding careers in the medical and financial fields. When there is down time, they value spending quality time together as a family of four. They love spending time outdoors, venturing to the farmer's market, local coffee shops + parks, and the zoo. They also love to travel and visit Door County with they can!
The family consists of 2 children: a 3 year old and an 18 month old. Both children are incredibly sweet, loving and curious. They love to play together, have dance parties and love on their sweet lab.
The 18 month old loves all things trucks. He is an old soul and is extremely loving. He loves keeping up with his older sister and is such a fun-loving little boy. The 3 year old loves playing dress up, doing arts + crafts and venturing to the local park.
The nanny will be responsible for school drop-off and school pick up when mom is traveling and will be given advanced notice of these dates. When the children are at school, the nanny can complete household manager duties and have some down time. School pick-up is at 12:30pm and the focus will be the children during the afternoons until mom and dad get home.
The family hopes the nanny will create fun + age appropriate activities to encourage + support their growth + development, and most importantly, maintain a safe and loving space for them to learn and grow in. The family would love for the nanny to get the children outside each day as well.
Due to the nature of the parent's careers, it is imperative that the nanny is extremely reliable and dependable. The parents will rely 100% on the nanny to give them peace of mind that the children are in the best of hands so they can be present at work. Being on time is a must.
The ideal candidate will be loving, warm, empathetic, adaptable, and reliable. They hope to find someone who values open-communication and has a genuine love for working with children + supporting families. The family does not wish to micromanage and hopes to find a nanny who is confident and can hit the ground running.
Mom and Dad truly view the nanny as an extension of their parenting team. Both parents operate with humor and have a fun-loving approach to parenting. They hope to find a nanny who has this approach as well.
Extra duties that would be appreciated are help with loading/unloading dishwasher (hand-washing when appropriate), lunch prep for the children, children's laundry + bedding, and general organization + cleaning of the common areas. Grocery shopping + light meal prep when time allows as well.
The family is open to a nanny who is not looking for extra household management duties. In this case, the schedule would drop down to 30 hours/week.
They look forward to welcoming their nanny and hope to have them long-term.
