Infant Nanny: Mineral Point, WI

A down-to-earth, warm and welcoming family in Mineral Point, WI is looking for an experienced + loving infant nanny to join their family. 

In their down time, they love spending quality time together. You can find them in the kitchen cooking up new and favorite recipes, exploring the outdoors hiking nature trails, taking their family dog for walks, and taking the canoe out. They are passionate about arts + culture and can’t wait to spend days in the garden with their little one. 

The baby is incredibly sweet and has a calm + sweet demeanor. He is starting to observe his surroundings and mom and dad are loving seeing him grow! 

The family is looking for an experienced, loving and responsible nanny to join their parenting team. They hope to find someone who is educated and confident in developmental milestones and all things infant + toddler. 

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working 1:1 with infants, helping them to grow, learn and explore their surroundings on a daily basis. A nanny who views themself as an educator and genuinely loves to teach will be a great fit for this family. 

The family has a deep appreciation for nature and gardening and would love to find a nanny who does as well. They envision the nanny helping in the garden, exposing their son to the process of keeping it thriving and harvesting when the time comes. 

The family is looking for a nanny who will be 100% engaged with their son and come up with creative + age appropriate activities to help encourage his growth and development. They would love for the nanny to take him out for daily walks to parks, nature trails and are open to ideas the nanny has on local activities to take him to. 

The nanny’s priority is always the infant. When there is down time, they would appreciate help maintaining the nursery, baby laundry, general tidiness of common areas, and meal prep. Cooking a family dinner 1x/week would be a major bonus. 

As long-awaited first time parents, mom and dad are looking for a nanny they can truly partner with. They value and respect the nanny’s expertise and hope to learn and grow with their nanny through the many transitions ahead. 

Family is interviewing now with position to start in January.

Schedule: 

Starting January 2nd: Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:00pm 

Compensation: $19-23+/hr 

Benefits: guaranteed pay/week, paid federal holidays, 5 days PTO of nanny’s choice, PTO when family takes vacation, option for monthly health insurance stipend, raises and bonuses based on performance

-Allergy to cats in home. Asking nanny to be mindful of can dander if they have one

-Family is open to hiring a nanny for the part-time roll, and another nanny for the full-time roll
