Now servicing the Milwaukee area!
An active, fun-loving family in Middleton is looking for a dedicated + kind infant nanny to join their family.
They welcomed their first child this year and have been loving life as a new family of 3. As a family, they are passionate about staying active and enjoy going camping, traveling, and cooking together.
The infant is incredibly sweet and observant. He loves to babble and go on walks with mom and dad!
The family hopes to find a nanny who is genuinely passionate about working with children, is experienced working with the infant- toddler age range and is knowledgable + confident on developmental milestones.
The ideal candidate will be nurturing, gentle, creative, calm + collected, have a natural love for the outdoors and a good sense of humor. The nanny will be 100% responsible for maintaining the infant's schedule (sleep, eat play), helping maintain his nap routine, getting him outside for walks, and encouraging the infant's development through educational + age appropriate activities.
The family wants to find a nanny who will be 100% engaged with their son and truly immersed in his world. As first time parents, they will look to their nanny and their expertise and truly value the nanny's role.
The infant will be the nanny's #1 priority and when there is down time, the family would appreciate help keeping the common areas tidy, with loading/unloading the dishwasher and baby laundry. Family has a house keeper so no heavy cleaning will be necessary.
Mom and Dad look at the nanny as a part of the family and their parenting team and hope to find a nanny who appreciates open communication. They want the nanny to feel loved and appreciated and do not wish to micromanage the nanny. They are looking for a nanny to stay long-term with them.
The family is interviewing now with the position to start July 31st (or earlier).
Nanny's Schedule: M-Fr: 8am-5pm
Compensation: $19-22+/hr BOE
Benefits: 45 hours guaranteed/week, 10 days PTO of nanny's choice, PTO when family takes vacation (up to 2 additional weeks), 3 paid sick days, paid federal holidays that land on the nanny's scheduled days, and potential for raises and bonuses based on performance *benefits negotiable based on nanny's needs
Notes:
-Family considering both covid vaccinated and unvaccinated candidates
-Family has two friendly + loving dogs that are a big part of the family. Nanny must be comfortable with dogs.
-Mom is finishing nursing school and Dad has an in-home office that he will work from throughout the week. He also travels down to his Chicago office often but the nanny must be okay with a parent WFH at times. The Nanny is 100% responsible for the infant when in the home as Dad is in back to back meetings throughout the day.
