Now servicing the Milwaukee area!
A dual professor + vet surgeon household in Madison is welcoming their first baby this spring and is looking for a loving nanny to join their family.
Both parents are professors at UW Vet School as well as surgeons at the vet hospital. They have demanding schedules and enjoy spending quality time together when they are not working. They have a love for cooking and trying new recipes and cuisines as well as staying active and working out.
When the nanny starts, the baby will be a couple weeks old. The position will begin as a mother's helper role and transition to full-time nanny responsible for full care of the infant when mom transitions back to work. They hope to find a nanny who will help make this transition as seamless as possible, giving the parents peace of mind that the infant Is in the best of hands while they are working.
They are looking for a nanny who has professional, hands-on experience with infants (infant-toddler age range is a must), and is knowledgable + confident in developmental milestones. They hope to find someone who has a genuine passion for working with children, and is able to maintain the daily schedule while providing a safe, loving and nurturing environment. The nanny must be extremely reliable as the family depends on the nanny so they can get to the hospital on time.
As first time parents, they will look to the nanny as an active part of the parenting team and appreciate guidance and advice along the way. They view the nanny as a pivotal part of their family and want them to feel loved and appreciated at all times.
They want the nanny to be proactive and take initiative to plan activities and will support any ideas the nanny has with supplies needed. They encourage the nanny to plan fun outings to local parks, and are near several walkable parks.
The mother's (older) parents live down the block, and would love to nanny to take the baby over for visits when they are up for it. They nanny must be comfortable with them coming over for a visit as well.
While the main priority will always be the baby, help with keeping the main areas tidy and organized, bottle cleaning, and baby laundry would be greatly appreciated. They family also has 3 friendly cats and would appreciate help feeding them when they are working at the hospital.
The family is interviewing now with the position to start beginning of June. They hope to find a nanny that is looking to stay with a family long-term.
