A busy, fun and professional family located near Henry Vilas Zoo is looking for a full-time infant nanny with house management skills to join their family.
Both parents have busy and demanding schedules, so when there is down time, they enjoy spending quality time as a family. They enjoy doing projects together, reading, hiking local parks and staying active. Since the pandemic began, they have done a few roadtrips to visit National Parks and loved making those memories as a family.
They have two sons, ages 9 and 4 and are welcoming their third child in May. The nanny's main priority will be the infant but their oldest will be in and out of the home after school and the occasional days he is out of school.
Their ideal candidate will be professional, engaging, outgoing, nurturing, loving and naturally organized. The family does not wish to micromanage the nanny and hope to find a nanny that is pro-active, appreciates open-communication and is a strong self advocate. The nanny should have several years of infant experience and be knowledgable in developmental milestones.
The nanny will be 100% responsible for the infant's daily needs; maintaining and implementing nap routine and engaging the infant in age-appropriate, educational activities to help encourage and support their development.
It is important to the family that the nanny gets the infant outside and exposes them to different activities as the baby grows. The family has a Montessori approach to parenting and view the nanny's role as an extension of their parenting team.
When there is down time, the family would appreciate help with the infant's laundry, maintaining the common areas, and meal-prep/ cooking dinner 1x/week would be a major bonus. Option for more duties if nanny would like to expand the role.
The family truly values the nanny and wants to find someone they can trust and feel confident is passionate about their role and working with the family. They look forward to welcoming their new nanny!

Schedule: M-Fr: 9am-5pm
Compensation: $20-22+/hr (BOE)
Benefits: 6 days PTO (nanny's choice), PTO when family takes vacation, paid sick days, paid federal holidays, option for money towards health insurance, use of family car during work hours, raises and bonuses based on performance.
