A fun, quirky and welcoming family in DeForest is looking for an experienced and responsible nanny for their newborn.
As a family, they are enjoying soaking up time together as a new family of 3! They value spending time together at home and enjoy getting outside, going for walks & taking in nature at the local conservancy. In non-covid times, they loved attending musicals, concerts, plays and art-on-the-square.
Both parents have in-home offices and due to their busy schedules, will rely on the nanny to maintain their son's schedule while they're working.
The ideal nanny candidate will have a genuine passion and excitement for working with children. Someone who is easy-going, loving, caring and a bit silly will be a natural fit for the family.
It is important that the nanny is educated on developmental milestones and is able to ensure the newborn's safety at all times. The family hopes to find a nanny that is truly invested in their son and will be present & engaging with him to help encourage and support his growth + development.
The family is looking for a nanny who is covid-conscious and will work in harmony with them to ensure the health of their son (who is predisposed to complications with covid). It is important that the candidate takes the pandemic seriously and is mindful and communicative when it comes to higher-risk exposure (traveling, large gatherings etc.). The family does not wish to micro-manage what the nanny does on their down-time, and only wants to maintain an open flow of communication so they can limit any unnecessary potential exposure.
The family truly values the nanny's role and wants them to feel welcomed and appreciated. As first time parents, they will look at the nanny as a part of their parenting team and hope to find someone to stay with them long-term.
The family is interviewing now with the position to start as soon as possible.
Nanny's Schedule: M-Fr: 11am-5pm
Compensation: $23-30+/hr BOE
Benefits: 1 week PTO of nanny's choice, PTO when family takes vacation, 5 paid sick days + paid covid isolation time, paid federal holidays that align with parent's schedule, $175+ monthly health insurance stipend, $25 monthly cell phone bill stipend, raises + bonuses based on performance, $500 sign on-bonus

-family considering covid vaccinated + boosted applicants only
-nanny will be expected to wear a mask while present with the baby and family will provide mask-free areas for the comfort of the nanny. *family will provide masks for the nanny and give several options to ensure the nanny is comfortable
