A warm, friendly and welcoming family in the Maple Bluff neighborhood, is looking for an experienced infant nanny for their son.
Both parents have demanding careers as a professor and a neurosurgeon. When they have down time, they enjoy being active by playing golf, going for walks, cooking, attending the symphony, and being on the water. They also enjoy going on little adventures and have a love for Door County.
Due to their demanding careers, the parents will rely 100% on the nanny to maintain their son's daily schedule and provide a safe, loving and nurturing environment for him. He currently loves to snuggle and take in his surroundings outdoors (feeling the grass, looking at the trees + birds)!
The ideal candidate will be extremely reliable, punctual, loving, kind and safety oriented. The nanny must have professional, hands-on infant nannying experience and be knowledgable + confident in developmental milestones. A nanny that is empathetic and has a calming presence will be a wonderful fit for this family.
Raising a son who is kind, compassionate, empathetic, sensitive to others and has a strong moral compass is very important to the parents. They hope to find a nanny who finds this equally important and will be positive role model for their son.
They hope to find a nanny who will be present + engaging with their son and plan educational + stimulating, age-appropriate activities to help encourage his growth and development, whilst being able to know when he's had enough stimulation and needs quiet time.
Other duties will include helping with dishes, baby's laundry, baby-related organization/tidying, watering plants, making baby's food, and meal prep a couple times a week would be appreciated!
As first time parents, they will look to the nanny's expertise and want the nanny to feel like an extension of the family and their parenting team. They hope to find a nanny that is looking to stay with a family long-term.
The start date is flexible through September and can be asap for the right candidate. Interviews are happening now and the parents are looking forward to welcoming their new nanny!
Nanny's Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm*
*flexible to do four 10 hour days as well (ex: M, Tu, Th, Fr: 8am-6pm)
Compensation: $23-25+/hr BOE
Benefits: salaried pay (PTO when family takes vacation), 1 week PTO nanny's choice, paid federal holidays, $200 monthly health insurance stipend, raises and bonuses based on performance
Notes:
*Family is considering covid vaccinated candidates only
*Potential to travel to Alabama with mom for spring semester and live-in (paid). This is not required but something family is open to discussing if the right candidate is interested.
