A kind, loving + laid-back family in Madison, WI is looking for an experienced infant nanny to join their family.
Both parents are physicians and have demanding work schedules. When they have down-time, you can find them spending quality time outdoors. They love hiking, camping, backpacking, fly-fishing and are excited to explore new snowshoeing trails around Madison. They also love to cook + bake and spend time with their sweet Labradoodle. They are welcoming their first child around Christmas and are excited to become a family of 3!
The family is seeking a nanny to be with them from mid-March to September 2024 when their daughter starts daycare. During this time, the nanny will be responsible for full-care of the infant and maintaining her daily routine.
The ideal candidate will be warm, loving, calm-natured and have an attention to detail. The family does not wish to micromanage the nanny, so someone who is proactive and can hit the ground running will be a good fit for this family.
Due to their demanding careers in the medical field, the nanny must be extremely reliable and will rely 100% on the nanny for their daughter’s care. They hope to find someone that will give them peace of mind she is in the best of hands while they are at the hospital.
The family hopes the nanny will be present and engaging with their daughter. They envision the nanny reading lots of books with their daughter, engaging her in age-appropriate activities to encourage her growth + development, and getting her out for daily walks.
The infant is the number one priority at all times. When there is down time, the family would appreciate help with baby-related tasks, such as: washing bottles, maintaining her nursery/common areas, baby laundry, and unloading + loading the dishwasher,
Mom and Dad view the nanny as an important part of their parenting team and look forward to welcoming their nanny to the family!
