Now servicing the Milwaukee area!
A loving & kind dual-physician household is looking for an experienced and professional nanny for their infant due in August 2023.
Mom and Dad have demanding careers and value spending quality time together when they are not at the hospital. They love all things Disney and Dad is a huge Star Wars fanatic. They love staying active and being outdoors, playing tennis, and traveling. They are so excited to be welcoming their first child this summer!
The family hopes to find someone who has a genuine passion for working 1:1 with children. They are looking for someone who has years of dedicated, professional infant experience and is knowledgeable and confident in developmental milestones.
The ideal candidate will be loving, caring, nurturing, affectionate and easy going. Someone who truly loves being a nanny and working in harmony with mom and dad will be a wonderful fit for this family.
The nanny's #1 priority is the infant. The family hopes to find a nanny who can provide him with 1:1 attention, engaging him in stimulating age-appropriate activities, getting him outside for walks, reading to him, and encouraging his growth through independent play as well. Most importantly, they are seeking someone to provide a loving, safe and nurturing environment for him to grow in.
When there is down-time, the family would appreciate help with tasks related to the infant (laundry, bottle cleaning, keeping play areas and nursery tidy, etc). Help with keeping the common areas (kitchen) neat + tidy is greatly appreciated as well. No major cleaning is necessary.
The family is very supportive, loving + family-focused and views the nanny as an extension of their parenting team and a part of the family. They hope to find a nanny to stay with them long-term!
The family is interviewing now with a flexible start date. Nanny can start as soon as September while Mom is still on maternity leave, or by end of October.
Nanny's Schedule: T, W, Th: 6am-4pm There will be some need for flexibility on the end time if mom or dad have a case that is running late.
Compensation: $19-22/hr BOE
Benefits: 30 hours guaranteed pay/week , 5 days PTO of nanny's choice, 3 paid sick days, PTO when family takes vacation (up to 6 additional weeks), paid federal holidays that land on the nanny's scheduled days, benefits and raises based on performance
Notes:
-Family strongly prefers covid-vaccinated candidates but is open to considering unvaccinated candidates as well
-Nut allergy in the home. Family asks that no nuts are brought into the home
-Family has one loving mini Goldendoodle who is a very important part of their family. The nanny must be a dog lover!
