An active, kind and adventurous family in DeForest just welcomed their 4th daughter and is looking for a loving nanny to join their family.
As a family, they truly value a healthy work-life balance. They enjoy spending time outdoors, going hiking, staying active, and playing sports. They also value slowing down and doing arts + crafts, cooking and baking together!
The girls all love to dance, do gymnastics, play outside, go on hikes, and enjoy doing fun projects, playing with their barbies and baking up something sweet on rainy days.
The family is looking for a nanny who is confident working with multiple children with a wide age range (girls are 6, 4, 2 and newborn). They hope to find a nanny who will guide + love their girls as their own and grow with their family. The ideal candidate will be patient, loving-but-firm (when needed), calm, pro-active, organized, and value open communication. A nanny that is able to balance play time and down-time will be a wonderful fit for this family.
The primary responsibilities will include: maintaining the children's daily schedules by creating structure + assisting with planning/executing activities, getting the girls outside, going on fun adventures (hiking, going to the river), planning time to work on educational activities like letter recognition, reading + spelling, simple math, + other age-appropriate activities, supervising play dates, and letting the girls be hands-on with activities like baking, cooking and gardening! *Family has memberships to the Sun Prairie Children's Museum & the PAC that the nanny will have use of.
In the Summer, the nanny will have all 4 girls, and in the Fall will primarily be with the 2 year old and infant full-time and two older girls after school. The nanny will be responsible for assisting with child related transportation when needed and will have a family car that fits all 4 child seats to use during working hours.
The nanny will be responsible for preparing healthy, well-balanced meals + snacks for the girls, maintaining the children's laundry, daily pick-up of the kitchen, living room and encouraging the children to help with pick-up of activities and their bedrooms. The family has a cleaning service so no heavy cleaning will be required of the nanny.
The family has had two wonderful nannies over the last several years and truly values the family + nanny relationship. They view the nanny as a very important part of their parenting team + family and want their new nanny to feel respected and appreciated. They are looking for a nanny long-term and look forward to welcoming them to the family!

Schedule: M, T, W, F (off Thursday): 7:15am-4:30pm *flexible off day for the right candidate
Compensation: $19-22/hr BOE
Benefits: 1 week PTO of nanny's choice, guaranteed salaried pay for 32 hours/week, paid federal holidays that fall on nanny's schedule, use of family van during working hours, raises and bonuses based on performance
