Full Time Nanny: Verona, WI

A down-to-earth, welcoming, nature loving family in Verona, WI is looking for an experienced nanny to join their three children. 

As a family, they value spending quality time together. They enjoy spending time in their garden, cutting + arranging flowers, watching wild-life, listening to music and baking + cooking together. Mom and Dad enjoy staying active and are currently training for a half-marathon! They also love to play computer games and built their own gaming PC’s (so cool). 

The oldest (7) is just an awesome. She is a curious, sweet, and adventurous little girl who loves to read and is currently making her way through the Harry Potter series. She loves to be creative and figure out how things work. She thrives on structure + routine and is very organized. 

The middle child (4) loves to stay active. He loves to dance and recently started dance classes! He is very kind, thoughtful and loves being a big brother. He loves paging through books, especially when they are about dinosaurs. You can also find him putting together puzzles and keeping up with big sister. 

The youngest was just born in July. He is a healthy, sweet, and easy-going baby. The family is truly loving this time as a new family of 5. 

The family is looking for a nanny who is skilled in managing multiples and genuinely loves working with children. The nanny must have experience with newborns to school age children and be educated + confident in developmental milestones. The nanny will be responsible for maintaining the children's day, helping with school drop off/pick off for the older siblings when needed and providing full-care for the infant. 

Mom and Dad are seeking a nanny who will truly view their nanny role as a partnership. They want to work in harmony with nanny to provide the best care possible for their children. They hope to find someone who doesn’t need to be micromanaged and will keep open lines of communications at all times. 

The family hopes to find a nanny who can balance providing structure + routine with allowing the children to navigate their days with (appropriate) independence and try to problem solve on their own. They do not want the nanny to micromanage the children’s day, rather support + nurture their interests + strengths and meet them where they are at. 

The ideal candidate is someone who can be silly, playful and goofy. The family values a good sense of humor and has a fun-loving nature. They hope to find a nanny who will be hands-on, present and engaging with their children. Someone who enjoys being creative and engaging the children in fun art + craft projects, nature walks, and lots of reading will be a wonderful fit for this family. 

Mom and Dad used the following tv show examples to help shed a light on their parenting philosophy/what they value: The Helpsters, Bluey, and Stillwater. They hope to work in harmony with their nanny in raising kind, compassionate and capable children who follow their passions and life goals. 

The nanny’s priority is the children. When there is down-time the family would appreciate help with child-related tasks such as maintaining the nursery/bedrooms, the children’s laundry, meal prep and general tidiness of their areas. 

The family is interviewing now with the position to start October 3rd. They look forward to welcoming their new nanny to the family and hope to have them for years to come!

Schedule: Tu-Fr: 8:30am-4:30pm 

Compensation: $25-29/hr BOE

Benefits: 32 guaranteed/week, 5 days PTO of nanny’s choice, 3 paid sick days, extra PTO when family takes vacation, use of family vehicle, paid standard federal holidays, raises and bonuses based on performance
