Full-Time Nanny: Madison, WI (Shorewood Hills)

This warm, community-oriented Madison family located in the beautiful Shorewood Hills neighborhood is seeking a kind, compassionate, and engaged nanny to support their two young children. 

Their daughter (5) is heading into Kindergarten this fall and is full of imagination and energy. She loves being outside—whether she’s swinging, running around, or diving into imaginative play. She’s also very creative and enjoys coloring, arts and crafts, and making up her own songs and dances.

Their son (2) adores his big sister and loves to be part of whatever she’s doing. He enjoys exploring, reading books, and “tinkering” with toys and objects. He’s curious, playful, and loves climbing, pretending, and engaging in imaginative games like cooking or building alongside his sister.

The family’s home environment is loving, relaxed, and community-driven. They are surrounded by neighbors and friends, and it’s common for kids to gather and play together in a casual, welcoming atmosphere. They are looking for a nanny who brings warmth, patience, and a genuine love for children—someone who enjoys being active, creative, and present.

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (30–40 hours/week, depending on candidate preference)

• Beginning this fall, their son will attend a preschool program Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 8:30–11:30 AM. The nanny will be responsible for pickup and continuing with lunch and nap routines afterward.

Flexible, with an ideal start around August 1st 

Compensation & Benefits:

• $25–28/hour, depending on experience 
• Guaranteed weekly hours (30–40 hours/week) 
• Minimum of 5 days PTO, with flexibility to negotiate additional time 
• Additional paid time off when the family travels or care is not needed 
• 5 sick days per year 
• Holiday Pay 
• Mileage reimbursement 
• Option for a health insurance stipend
