Now servicing the Milwaukee area!
A warm, kind, down-to-earth family in the Nakoma neighborhood is seeking an experienced and loving nanny to join their family.
As a family, they love to stay active, and enjoy spending time outdoors. They enjoy traveling, reading, seeing new plays, trying new restaurants and swimming at their local pool. They just welcomed their second child and are enjoying soaking up time as a new family of four!
The three year old is incredibly sweet, caring and has the funniest sense of humor. He loves going to school and spending time with his friends. He loves playing with cars, trucks, trains and is a big Paw Patrol fan! He is taking his big brother role seriously and adores his baby brother.
The infant was born in September and is already impressing mom and dad with his awesome sleeping skills. He has a sweet demeanor and loves to snuggle.
The nanny will be fully responsible for maintaining the infant’s day. The 3 year old is in daycare full-day but will be in the nanny’s care if school is out and when the family needs help with school pick-up.
Mom and Dad envision someone who has a natural love for working with children and wants the nanny to be present + engaging with their son. They hope the nanny will provide a loving, safe and enriching environment for him to play, learn and grow in.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with the infant-toddler age range and be educated + confident in age-appropriate developmental milestones. Someone who is able to adapt to the ever-changing needs of an infant, has a calm + nurturing demeanor and has a gentle, caring approach to nannying will be a great fit for this family. The family does not wish to micromanage the nanny and views the nanny as a trusted part of their parenting team.
The family hopes the nanny will plan and implement enriching + developmentally appropriate activities both in and out of the home to encourage their son’s growth + development. They are members at their local pool, so a nanny with water safety knowledge and a love for swimming is a major bonus!
Outside of providing high quality care to the boys, the family would appreciate help with the children’s laundry, keeping the common areas tidy + organized, maintaining the boys’ bedrooms, helping with light meal prep and assisting in bringing packages in + unpacking groceries. The family has a sweet, older dog that will need to be let out in the fenced-in backyard in the afternoon. He will happily join in on a walk if the nanny prefers to bring him!
