A fun, warm and loving family in Fitchburg is looking for an experienced, responsible and kind nanny for their 2 year old daughter.
Both Mom and Dad have busy careers, so when there is down time, they enjoy spending as much time together as possible. As a family they enjoy their weekly outing to church followed by one of their favorite family traditions: brunch as a family. On weekends, they enjoy walking around their favorite Madison areas, supporting local businesses, adventuring to pumpkin farms + apple orchards and spending time outdoors.
The toddler is very loving and sweet and is a true girly girl. She enjoys playing dress up, doll house and imaginative play. She likes practicing her ABC's, reading books, doing arts + crafts and loves to chat. The family lives near a couple local parks and she enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring.
The family hopes to find a nanny that is engaging, hands-on and present. They hope to find someone who enjoys being creative and planning fun & age appropriate activities for their daughter to engage in. They are currently working on encouraging proper manners and would like the nanny to continue this as well.
The nanny's duties will be directly related to the toddler, maintaining her daily schedule and meeting her needs. When there is down time (nap time), the family would appreciate help with meal prep, laundry, light housework (no heavy cleaning), and helping to keep a running list of things needed at the grocery store.
The family has had a nanny the last two years that has become a part of their family. They hope to find a nanny to help make this new transition as smooth as possible and hope to find a new nanny who will also become a part of their family and an extension of their parenting team. The family wants their nanny to feel loved and appreciated and does not wish to micromanage the nanny.
The family is interviewing now and is looking for a nanny long-term! Position to start as soon as possible.
Nanny's Schedule: M-Fr: 9am-4/5pm
Compensation: Salary is negotiable based on experience!
Benefits: Paid federal holidays that land on the nanny's scheduled days, potential for raises and bonuses based on performance, paid PTO + PTO when family takes vacation, option for sign-on bonus for the right candidate *all benefits negotiable during interview process
