An active, kind and welcoming family near downtown Madison is looking for an experienced infant nanny for their sweet 4 month old son.
The family is new to Madison and is looking forward to exploring all that the downtown area has to offer this summer. As a family, they enjoy staying active and being outdoors as much as possible.
Due to Dad's busy work schedule and frequent traveling, the family is hoping to find a nanny to become a part of their parenting team and work in harmony with Mom to provide the best care for their son and allow her to get work done around the house, run errands and have down time.
The ideal candidate will be safety oriented, have a calm, loving and friendly personality, and be educated & confident with infant + toddler developmental milestones. An education or nursing background is a major plus!
The nanny will be responsible for maintaining the infant's schedule, helping to implement proper wake times/nap times, keep him stimulated through age-appropriate activities, go on walks, and provide a safe + nurturing environment for him to learn, grow and play in.
When there is down time, the family would appreciate help with family laundry, maintaining the nursery/play areas and general light housekeeping. No deep cleaning necessary.
The family enjoys traveling and is looking for their nanny to travel with them, so a nanny who has experience traveling with their nanny family and/or be willing to travel is a must.
The family truly values the nanny's role + expertise and does not wish to micromanage the nanny's day. They look forward to welcoming them to their parenting team!
Interviewing now with position to start July 1st. Start date flexible for the right candidate.
Schedule: 3 days/week: days are flexible, but once determined will stay consistent: 10am-3pm.
Compensation: $20-23+/hr
Benefits: 3 days PTO of nanny's choice, travel with family, paid holidays that align with Dad's work schedule, raises and bonuses based on performance
Notes: -family is very covid conscious and is considering vaccinated + boosted candidates only. candidates applying should be up to date on all other general vaccinations as well -family has one friendly golden retriever
